Have had this kit installed for 2 and a half weeks and can now give an honest review.

Decided to go ahead and do a complete cam and lifter job after the intake lifter on cylinder 6 collapsed. All the gaskets the kit came with needed some encouragement to go into place, but are doing their job and the truck is not leaking oil, something that was a bad problem before doing the job. Despite the head gaskets currently not leaking, I'm keeping an eye on them due to a ton of white smoke that came out on initial startup, but for now, all is well and coolant levels aren't going down.

The cam went in with no issues and so far has been working just fine. Despite the cam being pre oiled, I did use assembly lube as an extra precaution.

The lifters felt just as good as the oem ones I pulled out which was reassuring. They come pre oiled with is nice, however I did dip the rollers in oil as an extra precaution, can never be too sure lol. Although a tad noisy on initial startup, they did eventually quiet up and do not tick, which is a plus.

While the kit did come with new bolts for the heads and exhaust manifolds, I ended up not using them for reassembly, simply because the old head bolts had no signs of wear and are perfectly reusable. I just straight up didn't bother with the exhaust manifold bolts as they were basically rust welded and it was just better to leave them alone. Truck does have a slight exhaust tick, has since I bought it.

The only problem I had with this kit was the seal that goes over the crankshaft on the timing cover. For whatever reason, that seal was pouring oil out of it. And for the skeptics, yes it was installed the correct way, the seal just unfortunately failed. Ended up replacing it with a different brand one and that one is holding up so far.

Overall, the kit is well equipped and comes with everything you need for a fraction of oem cost. If you're willing to tackle the job, it's definitely rewarding to get it done yourself and save a ton of money. However, I am slightly annoyed that one of the seals already had to be replaced due to premature failure. The lifters are decent quality, at least the ones I got were, and the camshaft felt no different than a factory mopar one. Seems like a decent kit, especially if you take your time and make sure everything is greased up so initial startup isn't dry. About 100 miles so far, only one failed seal, but otherwise, all is good.

Just rebuilt my 2017 Ram 1500. It was ticking so I bought this kit and I replaced the lifters, bolts, seals. I did not use the camshaft.
